Our clinical team is fully dedicated to child therapy, family therapy and individual and adult psychotherapy counseling services.
Mr. Julio Lagos -- is a graduate of the University of Southern California (USC), ranked among the top 15 universities in the nation. He is licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences and offers 12-years of post-master's experience.
Mr. Julio Lagos is known for his dedicated work in promoting social emotional health in children, adults and families throughout San Francisco, CA. He has presented on various mental health topics throughout Los Angeles, San Francisco and Latin America. He was the keynote speaker for the 2009 Latin America International Pediatric Conference, where he presented on pediatric mental health issues, with a specialty focus on family and children in the elementary school age range. Throughout Los Angeles and San Francisco, Mr. Julio Lagos has presented on mental health issues addressing ways in which to heal and cope with stress, anxiety, depression, emotional regulation and trauma.
For adults, Mr. Julio Lagos offers a relationship-based practice infused with Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Narrative Therapy. Mr. Lagos offers a supportive and attentive environment in his practice. He is registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-29172). He is fully fluent in both English and Spanish.
Nicole Lippert -- is a post master's graduate of the University of Southern California (USC). She works with adolescents and adults using a blend of psychodynamic and behavioral methods to help clients explore their internal subjective experiences to enrich their wellbeing, and work toward social-emotional goals.
Ms. Lippert specializes in issues of trauma, addiction, and women’s issues. She is also a LGBTQ+, kink and poly friendly clinician who provides a safe and non-judgemental space for people to explore those aspects of themselves. She is a strength-based, trauma-informed, clinician that attends to the holistic health and wellbeing of each individual.. She believes in meeting people where they may be on their life path and emotional journey.
Prior to working for UniHealth, Ms. Lippert has worked in a variety of clinical and community based settings, including hospitals, clinics, and non-profits. In her free-time, she enjoys dancing, reading, drawing, running, and travel.
Ms. Lippert is registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (ASW-70481) as an Associate Clinical Social Worker. She is supervised by Mr. Julio Lagos (LCSW-29172).
Alfredo Lozano -- is a graduate of San Diego State University (SDSU), where he earned his Master's in Science and Counseling. He is Licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
Mr. Lozano holds extensive experience in providing care to adults, young adults, families, children, and couples in a variety of community and outpatient settings. His areas of focus include treatment for depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, trauma, stress, and substance abuse. He is skilled in using a variety of modalities that include, psychodynamic therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, psycho-education, treatment planning, and relationship-based therapy practices.
Mr. Lozano offers a supportive, and strength-based environment for positive healthy change. He is dedicated to assessing your specific needs, and helping you develop treatment goals. From your meeting with him, you could expect him to provide a space conducive for developing internal mental frames, as well as external behavioral objectives to reach your goals.
Mr. Alfredo Lozano is registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (LMFT-100893) as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
Bren Cordova -- Welcome! I'm your Behavioral Health Administrator and I'm here to help you learn about our providers and our services. Finding a provider that is a good match for you and your needs is important to your long-term health and success. Should you experience a significant life event that creates for financial hardship and need someone to speak with, I'm here to help you connect. I believe in being accommodating and supportive; while also being outcome-driven through a proactive problem-solving approach. I am a graduate of San Francisco State University (SFSU), where I earned my degree in Health Sciences and Communicative Disorders. I am currently working toward my Master's Degree at the University of Southern California (USC). I'm fluent in both English and Spanish and I'm available by telephone and e-mail.
